After a good start, Tottenham runs into crisis. Last five matches, and still no victory. Four draws and defeat made them slip from top 5 teams on English Premier league table. They are only 3 points behind, but if they continue like this, it will not be god for the Spurs.
In Champions league they are in group E which is one of the most interesting in the competition. All teams have the chance to proceed to the next stage. And that is why this match is maybe the most important game in the whole season for both clubs. After the final whistle, things are going to be much more clear, for both clubs. Tottenham and Bayer both, have to play without any calculations because other game between AS Monaco and CSKA affects them.
Full speed ahead, that is how Spurs are coming into this game.
Harry Kane is not ready for the match, his injury was a major upset for Tottenham, but they must overcome that problem, after all, they are not the team in which everything revolves around one player.
Heung-Min Son ex-Bayer player, is maybe the main weapon for the London based team. Excellent form, various plays, best scorer in the team, he could be the man of the match. Beside him, Delle Ali, Eriksen, and Janssen should make a difference, they have much bigger rating than Leverkusen defense.
What maybe is a problem for the Spurs is the fact that they are not going to play on their home ground, White Hart Lane. Wembley stadium did not fit them well. Maybe the whole atmosphere is different than on their own stadium. But this is Champions League, no excuses allowed. Especially from the team who wants to play one of the lead roles in it.
Tottenham needs to play quicker than usual. Their passes are not good especially in the middle area of the pitch, it’s like they are missing one player who can connect midfielders with forwards. Dembele is underachieving. That is a fact. He needs to improve. They have to watch out for Chicharito, or they will be punished cruelly.
Lloris; Walker, Vertonghen, Dier, Rose; Wanyama, Dembele: Eriksen, Ali, Son; Janssen
Bench: Vorm, Carter-Vickers, Trippier, N’Koudou, Onomah, Winks

Bayer finally won the game, this weekend. They managed to come back after Wolfsburg scored and in the last minutes if the match, they completely changed the result. This is maybe the start of some better performances, which this club needs to show. Before this game, they were without a win in four matches, including three losses, and elimination from the Cup against lower league club, Lotte.
Now they have a much more difficult task in front of them.
They are heading for London to play with the team who also needs to win in order to get out of the bad zone.
Leverkusen is one point behind his opponent, and they need at least to stay undefeated, in order to keep their chances of qualifying for the next round. Also, they could qualify for Europa League, but they can finish last and stay without anything. Uncomfortable position.
The biggest advantage of visiting team is the form of Chicharito. Mexican striker scored five goals in eight matches and is the constant threat to the opposing defenders. His touch for goal situations is probably the best in Europe. But he alone can’t beat Tottenham.
Some of his teammates have to help him. Mehmedi and Lars Bender are crucial two players. If Swiss winger is playing good, and makes crosses and runs down the flank, it will create chances for Chicharito to score, because defending players will have to pay more attention to him. On the other hand, Bender has to stay focus, and reduce any potential mistakes, and when in offense, his passes have to be precise, and quick in order to develop fast counter-attacks.
Defense is a part of Leverkusen team that is the most unreliable part of the team. Apart from Dragovic who has 25 years, all other players are inexperienced. Tah, Wendell, Jedvaj, Henrichs all of them young.
They will be on maturity test. and they have to prove that they are not just talents anymore, but real players, on which you can count.
Possible lineups: Leno; Wendell B. Henrichs, Tah , Toprak; Bender Chalhanoglu, Brandt, Kampl; Voland Chicharito
Bench: Ozcan, Dragovic, Kiesling, Jedvaj, Kruse. Aranguiz
Manager: Markus Krusche
This will be a very interesting game because it could be a possible explosion of goals, although it seems more likely to see just two goals or less. But if game developers early, both teams who are currently running low on goals in past few weeks, could show an unforgettable night.
We think that most appropriate bet for this game is combination 1+first & 1+ second half.
