Slowly and without big publicity, Benfica
unnoticed managed to reach the great form. In the last 14 games, they have only one defeat. Against Napoli in Naples 2:4, and beside that none other. After that game, they are hot, as they are in the series with five straight wins. with an amazing goal difference, 13 scored and just one conceded goal. Mitroglu and Pizzi are accompanied with Grimaldo and Jimenez. Back line is looking very good with Lindelof and Lopes. Pacos Ferreira was defeated with 3:0, with a good display, and dominant performance. Already they have five more points than Porto, the main contender for Portuguese title. It is no rocket science when we say that Benfica is favorite before the match with Dynamo Kiev. The Ukrainian team is not going to have many chances if Benfica plays a game like in past several weeks. We saw how effective their game is, in Kiev two weeks ago, when they had a game perfect by their standards. Dynamo had the ball, and some chances, but every time Benfica went on the attack there was a panic in the home team. This is their crucial game if they want to proceed in the next phase, winning is necessary. We might say that this is their qualifying match. If they win, they are for sure at least in Europa League and they have good chances to advance to the second round of Champions League because Napoli is coming to Lisboa.

If they, however, lose, they might not continue their international season. But with the all due respect to the Dynamo, we think that Benfica is much better at this point. Excellent display of various players, well-balanced team and many scorers puts Benfica in the better position. Mitroglu is one of the best strikers in Europe, Lindelof, on the other hand, one of the most promising young defenders. Rotation system of coach Rui Vitorio is working like a Swiss watch.

Possible lineups: Ederson; Grimaldo, Lindelöf, Lopez, Nelsinho; Cervi, Fejsa, Pizzi, Toto Salvio – Guedes, Mitroglou

Bench: Júlio César, Luisão, Eliseu, André Horta, André Carrillo, Raúl Jiménez

Manager: Rui Vitoria

Andriy Yarmolenko since 28th October
Dynamo is in not such a good position. The team has already lost chances for the title as they are currently trailing for Shakhtar eight points. Manager Rebrov is under heavy criticism from the media and fans, and the team’s morale is shaken. They won against Karpaty but 4:1 is not enough at this point because played 1:1 leg before with Olexandria. They aren’t even second, but third in the national championship, behind Zorya Luhansk.
Manager Sergiy Rebrov is having many problems and difficulties with the squad because their leading players and the heart and soul of Dynamo Andriy Yarmolenko is likely to miss this match. The 27-year-old winger strained his lateral knee ligament during a training session. This is major upset both for fans and team because everything in this team comes from Yarmolenko. Now, the attacking line Moraes-Gonzales needs to push even harder in order to create some chances up front. More important for the result is going to be playing in the back line of the team. Benfica has tremendous attackers, and Dynamo will be on a big test. Vida and Antunes were not quite good two weeks earlier, especially Antunes, who was guilty of the penalty. Now he has a chance to redeem himself, in his own country.

What Dynamo needs to do if he wants to win is to play like he played against Besiktas in Istanbul. Fast, precise counter-attacks, with strong defense and quick passes, that is the recipe for them in this match. They proved that they know how to play on away games, the point snapped against Besiktas can be encouraging. And after Yarmolenko’s injury, they have no pressure and this could be plus. While everyone expects from Benfica to win, nothing is expected from Dynamo.
They have nothing to lose from that point of view. So why not try.

Possible lineups: A. Rudko; V. Antunes, D. Silva, D. Vida, Morozyuk;
S. Sydorchuk, Garmash, Rybalka, V. Tsygankov ; Moraes, Derilis Gonzales.

Bench: Oleksandr Rybka, E. Makarenko, Korzun, Gusev, Gladky

Manager: Sergiy Rebrov
We expect from this match, quite a lot of goals. Because as soon as one team scores it will become an open game, and the match will be attractive to watch. In that situation, there will be no more reason to wait. Teams are in delicate situations, in need of points, so any tactics will be left aside, all we ned is an early goal. As for the betting, our pick is Benfica, and if you want solid coefficient play that Benfica scores in both half. Also, a combination of Benfica winning and more than 2,5 seems like a god deal.
That is all for this match, let’s hope that we will see a lot of goals and
nice moves.
