Even before the start of the 3rd leg of the Group A between Arsenal and Ludogorets, the hosts were an absolute favorite to win this outing and it was just a matter of how many times can they find the back of the net of the visitors goal.

After overcoming a slow start in the English Premier League, Arsene Wenger has found a way to motivate his team and ever since the Gunners have not suffered a defeat in the last 10 games. What was even more impressive was the fact that going into this match, Arsenal has lost only 3 out of 39 games at home in the UEFA Champions league!!!

On the other side the Bulgarian team, who picked up „only“ 1 point so far in the Champion league competition, has been absolutely dominant in the domestic competition, winning the Championship title in the last seasons. Even this season they have been playing extremely well, as they are currently holding the 2nd place just behind Levski Sofia, who are ahead with two points. In addition, Ludogorets has lost only once in the last 12 matches in all competition.

After the referee signaled the start of the match, Arsenal found a way to keep the ball and create several chances early on. Even before everyone at the Emirates Stadium really got comfortable, it was 1:0 for the home team, as Alexis Sanchez scored a memorable goal with a nice run on the left side and lifting the ball over the keeper and into his far corner.

As both teams created some space on the pitch and some chances, it was Arsenal once again who increased their lead. Theo Walcott was the central figure in the 2nd goal, scoring from a close range in the 42nd minute. At 2:0, some have expected Arsenal to slow the rhythm down a bit, which never happened, as Arsenal came out in the second half even stronger.

The second half provided more excitement for the home fans, as they have witnessed a magnificent win over their opponent, which is rarely the case. Just as the second half started Oxlade-Chamberlain has made it 3-0 in the 46th minute after collecting a rebound just inside the box. At that point the visitors simply fell apart and it was Arsenal who took the total control of the match, scoring 3 more goals.

The next goal came in the 56th minute as Santi Cazorla involved Mesut Ozil into the action leaving him the ball for an open shot, which Ozil used to score his first goal of the match.

It was Ozil once again putting his name on the scoring sheet in the 83rd and the 89th minute of the match making it the final result of 6:0.

With the end of the 90 minutes of regular time, our conclusion was that the match was absolutely joyful, although it was fairly one-sided, with Arsenal controlling the match completely. The visitors had their chances, but it was Arsenal who never put their win in doubt and who are now leveled with Paris Saint German on top of the Group A with 7 points apiece.
